What exactly SUPER BLUE BLOOD MOON is?

Last few days were all about, what actually Blue moon is? Some call it  “The Blue Moon” while other says it to be “A Blood Moon” and there are few who says it to be “A Super Blue Blood Moon”. On social media people were busy updating their status, but only a few among them were focused to get a pinch of that.
So let’s start and explore maximum about the topic and that too in a short and crisp way.

·        Super Blue Blood Moon Day

Before we analyze, let’s split the word and learn their individual meaning.

1.     SUPER MOON- Super moon is the full moon, when it reaches closest to the Earth. It appears to be brighter and bigger.

2.     BLUE MOON- Blue moon simply means to be a second full moon in same calendar month.

3.     BLOOD MOON- A red tint of the Earth’s shadow cast on the moon during lunar eclipse, turning moon into coopery red color.

On Wednesday, maximum part of the world including India, saw not only a Blue moon and a super moon, but also a total lunar eclipse, all into one. With this fact, there was another rumor that was trending i.e. they all together appear with a cycle repetition of 152 years. Well, the information is correct but not for all the 7 continents. The 152 year cycle repletion fact was for the Americans only, not for everywhere on the globe. In Asia, last blue moon and total lunar eclipse happened on December 30, 1982. So the phenomena occur with a cycle of 35 years for sky lovers in India.

Of the total 5 eclipse this year, we have 3 partial and 2 total lunar eclipses. For those who are living in the Asian countries will not be able to see any of the partial eclipse but for the remaining two total lunar eclipses, the one on Wednesday was only partially visible from India and the second one i.e. on July 28 will be easily available for the sky lovers in India.
